LEGACY OF JUSTICE FOUNDATION GRANTS
2025 Shamberg Program Grant Cycle
Congratulations to the 2025 Shamberg Program Grant Awardees!
- Kansas Supreme Court Education Project, ACLU Foundation of Kansas. Combination of owned, paid, and earned media to educate Kansans about the state’s current judicial selection process.
- Strengthening Public Understanding of Kansas Courts Project, Kansas Fair Court Fund. Support for Kansas Supreme Court Justices’ public appearances, and digital advertising and speakers’ bureau efforts to inform the public about the role and importance of the court.
The emphasis of the 2025 Shamberg Project Grant cycle was public education on and protection of fair courts in Kansas. The LOJF is committed to keeping politics out of the judiciary and ensuring a fair and accessible legal process for Kansas citizens. Projects that align with the LOJF’s mission to support a fair and impartial judiciary through public education will be given priority upon review. Thank you to all 2025 Shamberg Project Grant (SPG) applicants! The LOJF received many thorough, worthy applications for 2025 SPGs.
The Legacy of Justice Foundation’s Shamberg Project Grant Program was created in 2009 and named in honor of John E. Shamberg, an early and influential leader of both the Foundation and its related professional association, the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association (KTLA).
